I recall saying a couple of months ago that whatever candidate wrapped his or her arms around the fact that Americans were losing their homes would be the next President. It seems to me quite obvious that we are in the terminal phase of the "Enronization" of the American economy. We have been defrauded, ripped off, and sold off bit by bit; all to make that grisly gang of thugs that Bush calls "my base" richer. What about the war you ask? It's rasion d'ette is as plain as the price of a barrel of oil. As James Baker said when he was bitch slapping Paul Wolfowitz (who thought the Iraq war would decrease the power of OPEC) " You don't understand Paul, we are OPEC"
So who is calling it for what it is? The only guy that's made any fucking sense to me is Edwards. When folks are drowning, starving, losing homes, and dying in this so called "city on a hill' ( and BTW a big posthumous FUCK YOU to Ronald Reagan), it's time for a leader who knows who the enemy is.
