Room Full of EMS

Gonna be in Baltimore for the next couple of days at an annual EMS conference I go to each year. I like being in rooms full of medics, there is a good vibe among us. Today I went to a couple of seminars that stressed the ability of a good provider to asses a patient fast and without any fancy toys, just sight, sound, touch, and asking the right questions.  Good EMT's ask the right questions, touch the right places, keep their eyes open, and listen closely. Come to think of it, thats not a bad description of what it takes to be a friend. Anyhow, more from Charm City tomorrow.
