So said Lord Byron.. or LB as his crew called him back in the day. In the morning we are off for a week in Rome, the eternal city; a place long on my 'bucket list'.
I doubt I'll be able to post from Italy, but I will take notes to share upon return. In 2005 we watched Katrina unfold from my father in law's home in the Lake District of England and it was quite a vantage point. It will be interesting to see what sort of take I can get on our election from a Roman perspective.
